    Default Good bye to Consults

    AAPC: Back to School
    What do you think about 2010 no more consults. I know it is going to be hard to get my doctors to quit marking them. I still have some who try to use 2nd consult codes. Any thoughts.

    As of when does the doctors need to quit using the consult CPTs?

    1-1-10 for Medicare...others may follow...likely actually, down the road.
