    Default Coding help!

    AAPC: Back to School
Doctor states pt in office for routine device interrogation.
Procedure note reads; The device was interrogated. All functions normal. No therapies since last interrogation.

Device is Medtronic single chamber ICD. Mode:VVI: lower rate 40. V paced<
    0.1% Battery: 3.09 V with a charge time of 8.51 secs. Intrinsic sensing: 11.1-13.3 mV, impedance: 592 Ohms and pacing threshold 1.0 V @ 0.2 ms. 46 episodes of non-sustained ST.

    How would this be coded.

The code for ICD interrogation is 93289. It does have a professional and technical split so keep that in mind when billing. You may need a 26 mod.
