Default Lysis of Adhesions - My Dr did an open lysis of adhesions
    Exam Training Packages
My Dr did an open lysis of adhesions (along with open RCR, biceps tenodesis and removal of heterotopic bone). He did the lysis in the subacromial space. I can't think of an open code (scope=29825). Any ideas? Thanks.

Unles documented as extraordinary or extensive then there is no way to bill for the lysis of the adhesions it is considered part of the procedure. However if the documentation will support extraordinary then I would use a 22 modifier on the open RCR.
