    AAPC: Back to School
    We are questioning whether the drawing of arterial blood bundles into intensive care services.

    FYI, 99477 is not critical care--it is intensive care. And the short answer is no, you can't--it is bundled-- it follows the critical care rules on those pages.
    If the patient is critical, and is documented appropriately, use 99468.It is a higher RVU. The provider must document in the note why the patient is critical (respiratory failure, RDS, etc) But it doesn't have to have a time statement, unlike adult critical care.
