Default TAH for BRCA2 gene mutation

    AAPC: Back to School
    Hi All,

I am coding a TAH for risk reduction due to family history breast cancer and BRCA2 gene mutation. I have dx codes V84.01, V84.02, and V16.3, none of which can be used as a primary/principal dx code. What do I do?

    Thanks in advance.

How about V07.8, then your history of codes?
