Default Deactivating a dual lead implantable cardioverter-defrbrillator

What code would be used when a physician actually deactivates the patients defribillator per the familys request. So he's actually going in and reprogramming the device to deactivated mode. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.....Thanks!

There isn't a code to deactivate a pacemaker; however, if this was done in the office the doctor could charge an office visit as long as the HPI, Exam and MDM is documented. If it was done while the pt was in the hospital, the doctor could charge a hospital visit.
