    Default finger fracture

    AAPC: Back to School

My officemate and I where talking about cpt code 26720. We have a case where a person came into the office with a broken finger. The finger is broken in two parts the proximal and middle phalanx. So we where wondering if you would bill 26720x2 or would you bill it once since it is on the same finger.

    Thanks in advance,

If the physician treats the proximal and middle then you would bill it twice
