    Default Elbow/nerve coding help please!!!

    AAPC: Back to School
The patient has had chronic elbow pain status post biceps tendon repair.

Physician listed surgery as right elbow excision of scar, biceps exploration and neurolysis of lateral ante-brachial cutaneous nerve.

    The carrier is AETNA.

If anyone can help me with this one it will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!!

What codes did you choose so far? It may be easier to help you.

    Default Elbow nerve/biceps debridement

I was thinking of 64713 for the neurolysis of the brachial plexus and excision of "tumor" for the scare excision of the biceps/elbow.

Any other ideas? --- or did I totally miss the boat?

    Thanks for your help!!
