    Default return to or due to complications?

    AAPC: Back to School
    I am confused with Medicare's coverage on billing for anesthesia services twice on same day due to the fact patient was returned to or due to complication from the procedure.

    Does anyone know if this is covered?

    yes with modifier 78 in the second case
