    Default Chronic vs. Acute

If you saw a report that reads non occlusive thrombosis popliteal vein, how would you code that diagnosis? Would it be Chronic or Acute?

I would use 453.41. This code doesn't stipulate acute or chronic but wouldn't assume acute unless specified.
