  1. Talking CPC test

I just took the CPC exam today and felt overwhelmed mostly because of the time element.Of
course it seemed everything I had studied for was not on the test-alot of things I have never
heard of.Did anyone else feel the same way.So now am clueless whether I passed or not.

Luckily, the first time for me as well. But no matter what or how many times it takes, passing is what matters! As long as you pass, that's the goal.

I passed the first time. Dont get frustrated if you do not. It is a tough test. The score really is not the issue. It is not like the number is listed after your CPC....Good Luck with your future endeavours.

I just recently passed the CPC exam on the first try! Was very excited! It was not an easy test. TIME is the biggest factor. It is the fastest 5hrs and 40 mins of your life!!!

Sorry but those who have taken the exam cannot share what questions were on the test. They sign a statement that they will not do that...your best bet is to take the practice test or get a study group together prior to the exam.

I'm also a part of the one hit wonder crowd!

I'm going to have to side with those who said the test wasn't easy. I graduated with an AS in Medical Insurance Billing and Coding two weeks before my test. I had even taken a course that had CPC prep material in it (and I fully credit that course for my pass), but even at that, I still feel so accomplished having passed the first time up.
