    Default 20550/551/552 or 20610

    AAPC: Back to School
Please see below.....what code would best describe this procedure? Debating between 20551 & 20552. Current dx is shoulder pain and patient has Medicare.

"1 mL of dexamethasone was injected into the area of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve of the thigh as it crosses inferior to the ASIS. This was done without difficulty. The patient tolerated the procedure well. The wound was cleaned and a Band-Aid applied"

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
