Tendon Suture Removal

  1. Question Tendon Suture Removal
    Exam Training Packages
    Dr removed 4 retained supramid sutures from the left 5th finger extensor tendon. Dr feels this should be billed as a hardware removal, i disagree. Please provide some clarification as to whether a supramid suture in the tendon would be considered "hardware".
