    AAPC: Back to School
    In a hospital setting, can a anesthesiologist charge for their services from the initial time the patient is seen, or when the patient is actually in the operating room?

    Anesthesia time begins when the anesthesiologist begins to prepare the patient for anesthesia. It can be in the operating room or in another area.
