Retention of medical records/and EOBS

    Default Retention of medical records/and EOBS
    Medical Coding Books
    Could someone please tell me here i can see in writting that you are to hold EOBS' for x amount of years.

    And where it says in writting how long you have to obtain a medical record.

    any help would be greatly appreciated

    Do you mean retain a medical record, if not I apologize. I am not sure about EOB's but the retention of medical records depends on state regulations. I believe, the least amount of time for any state is 5 years.
