    Default Patient not present is there an EM CODE

    AAPC: Back to School
    Patient is in rehab facility, pt spouse is upset that they are about to send patient home and came in to discuss patient care and concerns with patients primary care physician. Is there a way to bill for this visit? Patient has medicare.

    For Medicare, the patient must be present.
