    Good morning!

I just want to be sure that I am coding septic emboli correctly. The patient has MSSA septicemia.

Are these the correct codes and sequencing?

    995.91
    038.11
    415.12

    Thanks

    Hey I think ,

    038.11
    995.91
    415.12

Please take a look on tabular list for 995.9*, the seq. of coding for sepsis.

    Hope this helps!

Yes, now that you mention it, I looked at coding guidelines and found that the 995.91 is followed by the systemic infection (038.xx).

    Thanks for your help!
