Invalid code Medicare

    Default Invalid code Medicare
    Exam Training Packages
    Has anyone heard of 27215 being an invalid code for medicare??
    Where can I find this information?

    If that procedure is what was done then how else would I code it??

    North Carolina
    Medicare has a "G" code for 27215. It is G0412.

    The AAOS has a good article on this. Click on Table 1 under the heading...

    "Understanding the shift"

    This will provide the crosswalk code for this code as well as others...
