    Hey ,

    If hematoma is 2ndry to C. Fusion then I think 998.12 + V45.4

    Hope this helps!

    actually the fusion was on 1/26/10, and this evacuation of the hematoma was on 1/27/10

    Hey,

    That is the hematoma is postoperative. So you can code as above.
