Can anyone tell me if the peroneal brevis tendon is a flexor or extensor tendon?
I think it is flexor but unsure.
    Thanks,
    Melissa

I wanted to agree but the description I found in my anatomy book says it "extends and abducts" the foot so would that make it an extensor? Other than that, I'm not really sure. Sorry...not much help.

I just came across a couple more descriptions of it where it says that its function is for plantar extension....didn't know if that might help...

    I would say flexor
