CABG Question

  1. Smile CABG Question
    Medical Coding Books
If the physician states that he performed an open lower extremity vein harvest and did not specify that its saphenous vein graft and he didn't really state from a femoropopliteal vein, would it be appropriate to use 35572 in addition to 33533 and 33517?

    Thank you in advance,
    Susie Wilbur, CPC-H

I would query the physician for clarification.
