    There's an excellent article in the June 2010 Coding Edge Magazine regarding modifier 59 on page 34. I found it to be very helpful and thought I'd mention it here.

    Code 76700 is a component of 93975 but a modifier is allowed in order to differentiate between the services provided.

    (I do understand your answear) but how can it be that a component of service is more expensive than the total service itself?
