2 E&M Codes Same Day/ Same Office/ Different Specialty

    Medical Coding Books
    our practice has general and vascular surgeons. is it ok to bill two e&m codes, one general surgeon and one vascular surgeon, related dx's?

    Since they're two separate specialties, you may be okay. We have multiple specialties in our practice and this hasn't been a problem.
