modifier 25 for E/M when EMG performed

    Smile modifier 25 for E/M when EMG performed
    Exam Training Packages
    Patient has EMG on same date as E/M performed. I know the referring has to actually request the E/M, but, does it need modifier 25?

    Yes, you need to append -25 to the E/M service.
