Modifier reimbursment

    Does anyone if Aetna reimburses 20% of allowed amount for modifier 80 or 20% of rate paid to primary surgeon? (this service date was in 2009 and it was still 20%)

    Aetna reimburses our doctors 16% of the surgeon's allowable rate.
