    Question 99239

    AAPC: Back to School
my is about the appropriate documentation for 99239; the follwowing are some of the documentation examples we are seeing, are there any that are not acceptable?

time spent on dc > 30 min
    dc time 31
more than 30 min on dc

  2. #2

The only one I would accept to support 99239 is #2......dc time 31

Codes based on time require documentation of time and #1 and #3 don't do that.
