Diabetes Type 2 Uncontrolled with PAD

  1. #1
Default Diabetes Type 2 Uncontrolled with PAD
    New Call-to-action
DM Type 2 Uncont with PAD - should this be coded 250.72 and 443.81?

  2. Default DM II with PAD
You would code both codes in this instance. When you look up code 250.7 in the ICD-9 book it states that the underlying condition should be coded also.
    I hope this helps!
