Is it acceptable to bill 88329, 88331(Frozen) and 88305(Permanent)? Can anyone direct me to any documentation online regarding the billing and documentation needed/required of Frozens?

Refer to your CPT book. 88331 is indented under 88329 so if a frozen was done during an interoperative consult, 88331 would be your code. If no frozen was done but an interoperative consult was done alone then 88329 is the code to use. These can not be billed together, but they may be billed with 88305. Again refer to the CPT book. In the first paragraph under Surgical Pathology it is explained.

    Happy coding to you!
