Need some advice on billing Locum Tenens. Have found some information from TrailBlazer and CMS on using the modifier Q6. However, some of the commercial payers (Aetna) say they won't accept that modifier. Help!!

I use the Q6 modifier for Locum Tenens billed to Medicare. For other payors, I don't use any modifier at all.
