UTI coding

  1. Thumbs down UTI coding
    New Call-to-action
Can someone tell me how to code Urinary tract infection with beta hemolytic strep.

  2. #2
If the beta strep bacteria caused the UTI then I would bill 599.0 and 041.02. If the patient has both a UTI and strep throat I would bill 599.0 and 034.0 Hope that helps!

Thanks so much for your help. Have a great day!
