    Default DM specificity
    New Call-to-action
If a patient has been diagnosed with 250.60, along with 353.5, when the patient presents for a DM check and management, should the 250.60 be coded or just 250.00?

    thanks in advance

It depends on the documentation for the specific encounter being coded, you cannot code what is known from previous encounters.
