Default Help needed on coding office visit

    AAPC: Back to School
Patient comes in to the office she presents for preventative medication for malaria as she is getting ready to travel to Mexico. Chloroquin 500mg tablets are prescribed to her.

Any ideas on what dx code to use? I am lost...any suggestions are appreciated!

See OGCR Section I.C.18.d.2 states to use V03-V06 for encounters for inoculations and vaccinations.

I would use V05.1, other arthropod-borne viral diseases, since malaria is transmitted by the bite of a mosquito.
