    Default allograft tendon preparation

    AAPC: Back to School
I work for an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in ankle and foot. He sometimes uses allograft tendon when doing a lateral ligament ankle reconstruction. This takes his time to prepare the allograft to be used during the surgery. What would be the appropriate code to use for the preparation of the tendon in this situation?

Default tendon allograft for ligament reconstruction

Preparation of the allograft for ligament reconstruction is incidental to the primary procedure and not separately reportable.
