    AAPC: Back to School
    If a patient has a fitting for a diaphragm (97170) can an office visit get billed as well?

    If it was planned ahead of time for the patient to come in for this purpose then no you cannot bill the visit level as the assement for the purpose of the procedure has already been performed and charged for.
