    Default diagnosis coding

    AAPC: Back to School
    if patient was seen at the office for rotator cuff tear, but when she had her surgery there was no rotator cuff tear and the doctor did an acromioplasty would you still bill out the rotator cuff diagnosis. the op not specifically states no rotator cuff tear

    What diagnosis did the physician put on the op note?
