Is it ok to code synovectomy with a SLAP Repair?
The scenario goes synovectomy of the glenohumeral joint as well as debridement of badly torn labrum. Arthroscopic slap lesion repair was performed. The anterior superior labrum was captured using a suture shuttle a #2 fiberwire was passed through the anterior superior labrum and was threaded to arthrex knotless anchor system. A drill hole was placed in anterior superior glenoid and the knotless anchor with a capture labrum was inserted into the predrilled hole suture was trimmed at ends and anchor was allowed to fix the anterior superior labrum into the anterior superior glenoid.
Ian confused when I should code the actual repair versus the debridement. I have coded this as 29807 with 29822-59. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

    I would code as

If you are more comfortable with 29807 & 29822, you need to remove the mod 59. CCI does not bundle these procedures.

    Hope that helps!
