Cool Rounding sq cm for debridement codes
    Medical Coding Books
Code 11043 states "first 20 sq cm or less" in the description. If I have to bill for 20.2 sq cm can I use code 11046 "each additional 20 sq cm, or part thereof"? Thank you.

    Default Yes
Yes ... anything OVER 20 sq cm would be coded with the next CPT code.

Just be sure you squared it correctly.
