99201? New patient, not seen?

    Default 99201? New patient, not seen?
    Medical Coding Books
    If a new patient had vital signs checked, but did not seen by the physician and sent to the ER. Nothing was documentated by the physician. Can we still charge 99201? Thank you for your help!
