Sorry for the long scenario,

I have a question for the group. I have a physician who is doing a TAH/BSO with a Onco-gyn as a precaution in case there is malignancy (which there wasn't). Then after that proc is done, another one of our doctors from the same practice comes in to do a TOT for SUI. Because both doctors are from the same practice, same specialty does one have to be the primary and the other the assist? OR, since the one physician who did the TOT is the only one in the practice who can do them, Can we bill this physician as the primary for the TOT only (she was not present for the TAH/BSO)?
Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!
