    Default correct code needed

    AAPC: Back to School
A surgeon performs a 29881 arthroscopic meniscetomy. he states in his notes he sees a few floating fibers from a previous ACL repair so he performs a "debridement" of these few fibers that were floating. I feel that this should be included in the procedure and not billed as a seperate procedure. What would be the correct billing for this? Would like an answer ASAP please. And Thanks in advance. new email address llingelbach@winhealthpartners.org

If it is in the same compartment as the menisectomy, it would be included
