    Default Coding help please!

    AAPC: Back to School
    Any ideas on this?

Operative note states "plication or Kauffman procedure of the bulbomembranous urethra" and "he feels there should be more correction of his incontinence, therefore, discussion regarding a possible plication replacement "tucking" of his sling would be performed including possible removal and replacement of his sling"

Do not want to use an unlisted code if at all possible. Was thinking maybe a sling revision 53442 with a 52 modifier?

    Thank you.

Sorry, he did a "Kaufman procedure" of placing imbricating sutures across the bulbomembranous urethra: "Vertical mattress sutures in essence to tightening for almost a 1-2 cm region" of the external region and bulbomembranous urethra.
