peripheral vascular angiography

  1. Default peripheral vascular angiography
    Medical Coding Books
Doctor performed a selective angiography of the superior mesenteric artery and selective angiography of the celiac access with right femoral artery entry. I billed it as 36245, 36245-59 can you please tell me if this is correct for medicare. Having trouble understanding if its same order.

36245, 36245-59 would be correct as both of these are first order arteries, as long as the doctor doesn't go any further into the celiac artery.
