    AAPC: Back to School
    Wow, I can't imagine how frustrating it is to try to be doing the right thing but nobody seems to care. I work for a third party biller and we have it beat in our heads to code what is dictated not what is payable. Our coding manager's favorite line is " If an auditor looks at this chart.." I guess some people either don't understand that they are commiting fraud or they truly just don't care. Either way, they need to find another job.

    They are changing codes for reimbursement only.

    The billing company has all the responsibility if their contract states 100% chart review before billing claims.
