    Default CEA Labs

    AAPC: Back to School
    Can anyone give me any help woth billing CEA lab using 199.1 Dx code. pt has secondary defined dx but uncertain primary but I can't sem to fin anything to get our labs paid for. Thanks

    Would it make sense to list the mets as primary with the 199.1 as secondary? Good luck!

    will any of these help? this is from the ncd.

    Elevated carcinoembryonic antigen [CEA]
    Other abnormal tumor markers
