    Question Signs and symtoms

    AAPC: Back to School
    is it ever ok to code the signs and symptoms of a primary diagnosis? example, parkinsons, code also tremors.

    The guidelines for signs and symptoms are located in your ICD-9 along with other guidelines.

    Yes I read that before my post. I just started working and was told to code them. And wanted to get feedback. Thank you
