neurotransmitter depletion

I have a provider that is listing "neurotransmitter depletion" in his assessments. He is treating it with Effexor XR and Xanax. I know that this has to do with a Neurotransmitter depletion balance between serotonin and dopamine. I do not have the ability to ask the provider for any more specific information.

How should I code neurotransmitter depletion???

    358.8 Other specified myoneural disorders.
The depletion of neurotransmitters/regulators cause disorders of acetylcholine at neuromuscular junction, causing wekness or fatigue of the voluntary muscles.
On eof the major disorder of this categoryis Myathenia gravis.
Th ecode from the category 358.x should be selected.
Your case scenario belongs to the other specified myoneural disorder- So, 358.8 would be more suitable.

  3. Default neurotransmitter depletion
    Thank you so much!!!
