Ortho had to discontinue THA procedure after an intraoperative medial femoral circumflex artery laceration. At the point the procedure was discontinued, the entire acetabular component had been replaced. I have two questions:

1) In addition to 27130/53, does anyone know what I can bill for "the patient had ligation of several muscular branches of the medial circumflex artery. This was carefully isolated and packed, it was felt that the best course of action was to proceed with packing of the wound and the patient's wound was then closed, three laps were in place with a thrombin Gelfoam plug over the medial circumflex artery".

2) 48 hours later the patient returned to the OR for completion of femoral component of the THA - no complications...so 27130/58/52?
