Non-operative bone stimulator

    Question Non-operative bone stimulator
    Medical Coding Books
Can I charge for a Non-operative bone stimulator in the office during the post operative global? 20974 is the code the MD is using.
I thought everything done in the office related to the surgery is included.
This is to aid bone healing.
I have one physician charging for it post-op ACDF and another MD charging for it after a ankle surgery.

What about if the rep for the supply applies the stimulator in our office post op?
Our MA's are insisting we can bill, can we?
Thank you so much for your help.
    have a terrific day!
    Help Please!![/B]
