    Medical Coding Books
    If a pt goes to the ER and the Dr. provides critical care for 45min then the pt is admitted and the hospitalist also has to provide critical care for 31min how would you code? Docs have different specialties. Thanks

    I would bill the 99291 for both providers. Since they are diffrent specialties they can both bill for this.
