Hi or should I say Help Please:

I am hoping that I can get some answers here regarding the correct coding for PRP injections. The issue that I am running into are denials because using the unlisted procedure code of 86999 is not fee scheduled or on the ASC. According, to medicare you should use 0232T. I have also come across that 36513 is being accepted in NY and Oregon would this work in New Jersey? Is there a better code for these injections that are fee scheduled? any insight to this issue would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

Hi, the correct code is 0232T. Currently, the only provider authorizing this procedure is Medicare. I work for an orthopaedic practice and we have tried numerous time to get this procedure authorized. Our physicians have stopped scheduling the procedure due to nonapproval.
